  1.                INDOOR GOLF 
  2.    
  3. 1.  Each player will furnish his own
  4.     equipment for play, normally one
  5.     club and two balls.   
  6.  
  7. 2.  Course to be played must be
  8.     approved by the owner of the
  9.     course before play can begin.
  10.  
  11. 3.  Unlike outdoor golf, the object
  12.     is to get the club in the hole and
  13.     keep the balls out of the hole.
  14.  
  15. 4.  For most effective play, the club
  16.     should have a firm shaft.  Course
  17.     owners are permitted to check the
  18.     stiffness of the shaft before play
  19.     begins.
  20.  
  21. 5.  Course owners reserve the right to
  22.     restrict the length of the club to
  23.     avoid damage to the hole.
  24.  
  25. 6.  The object of the game is to take
  26.     as many strokes as necessary until
  27.     the course owner is satisfied.
  28.     Failure to do so may result in
  29.     being denied permission to play
  30.     the course again.
  31.  
  32. 7.  Players are cautioned to select
  33.     the proper hole for play.
  34.  
  35. 8.  It is normally considered bad form
  36.     to begin playing the hole
  37.     immediately upon arriving at the
  38.     course.  The experienced player
  39.     will usually admire the entire
  40.     course, with special attention to
  41.     well formed bunkers.  He should
  42.     also assure himself that the hole
  43.     is properly lubricated to aid in
  44.     stroking.  Additional lubricant
  45.     may be added to the club if
  46.     necessary; preferably by the
  47.     course owner.

  49. 9.  Players are cautioned not to
  50.     mention any other courses that
  51.     have been played recently, or
  52.     concurrently to the owner of the
  53.     course being played. Upset owners
  54.     have been known to damage a
  55.     player's equipment for this
  56.     reason.

  58. 10. Players should assure themselves
  59.     that their match has been properly
  60.     scheduled, especially on a
  61.     different course being played for
  62.     the first time.  Previous players
  63.     have been known to get irate if
  64.     they find that someone else has
  65.     been playing what they consider
  66.     their own "private course."

  68. 11. Players should not assume the
  69.     course is in shape for play at all
  70.     times. Some owners may be
  71.     embarrassed to admit that the
  72.     course is temporarily under
  73.     repair, and the player is advised
  74.     to use tact in this determination.
  75.     More advanced players will find
  76.     alternate means of play when this
  77.     is the case.

  79. 12. It is considered outstanding
  80.     performance, time permitting, to
  81.     play the same hole several times
  82.     in one match.
  83.  
  84. 13. Course owners shall be the judge
  85.     of who is the best player. It is
  86.     considered bad form for a player
  87.     to reveal his score to other
  88.     players, or that he even played
  89.     the course.

  91. 14. Players who have contracted for
  92.     exclusive rights to play a private
  93.     course are cautioned that
  94.     information reaching the owner
  95.     that he has played some other
  96.     course may result in the contract
  97.     being canceled and a suit for
  98.     damages instituted.
